Bed & Breakfast
Stay in comfort in a stone built eighteenth century Derbyshire farmhouse Bed....
All are en-suite, and decorated and furnished to a high standard with TV and tea and coffee making facilities, as well as free wireless broadband internet access. Oak beams are a feature throughout the house and original water colours adorn many of the walls. The stone fireplace is a focal point in the lounge and food is served in our dedicated breakfast room which offers beautiful views across our gardens and the Derbyshire countryside.
....And Breakfast After a good night’s sleep, there is no better start to a day in the Peak District than a full English breakfast. Since taking over Shallow Grange we have taken a pride in making our breakfasts special – sourcing good quality local ingredients from within the Peak District. We hope you will be able to appreciate the difference. - - Our free range eggs are produced by our own hens here on the farm (see them in our gallery) and have distinctive bright orange-yellow yolks. - - If you are staying with us at the right time of year, your breakfast tomato will have been grown on our allotment. - Bacon and sausage are supplied by our butcher, Arnold Mycock & Son, who rear and source their meat locally. - On your toast, you can enjoy locally produced honey from the nearby village of Longnor. We believe that by making an effort to reduce food miles, everyone benefits. Of course cereals, toast and fruit are included and a vegetarian option is available. We are sorry, but we are not able to accommodate babies & children in the Bed & Breakfast. |
