About Shallow Grange

Spectacular views, wide open spaces and a piece of rural England all await you at Shallow Grange.

We are located between the spa town of Buxton and the market town of Bakewell, an ideal hideaway from your break - whatever time of year.

Shallow Grange is set away from the main road and sits amidst 110 acres of grassy farmland and rolling hills in the heart of the Peak National Park.

As part of a traditional working farm, the striking 18th century farmhouse is an ideal base to enjoy peace and quiet whilst experiencing the joys of green meadows and mature woodland.

A variety of unspoilt walks are a stone's throw from our door and you can discover Sites of Special Interest (SSI's) or venture out on nature trails.

There is so much to do in the Derbyshire Dales. Once you have booked your accommodation you can think about how to relax during your break. Take your choice of cycling by heather covered moors, walking through rocky valleys or visiting picturesque villages nearby, climbing, caving, hang-gliding, fishing, sailing, canoeing, riding and trekking.

We are predominantly a working farm, so if you are expecting a site with a bar, a games room, a shop, a children's playground, and a swimming pool, then this is probably not the place for you.
